The Esplanade runs the length of Darwin's waterfront from Doctor's Gully to Traveller's Walk and includes Lameroo Beach - once home to salt baths and a thriving hippy commune. Shaded by tropical trees with meandering paths the park is an excellent place to lounge in a shady spot or take in the historic memorials and places of interest.
